After ten years as a chef and artist, John’s inclination for all things creative led him to the world of graphic design in the late ’90s — and he’s not looking back.

Graduating from Pacific Design Academy in 2001, John held senior positions at Island Graphics and Bobolo Design Group before landing his dream job with Artemis.

“I interviewed here three times, over the past few years, before I got the job,” says John. “I knew this was the kind of the place I’d like to work because of the group approach Artemis takes to the design process. As an individual, you can have a great idea — but as a team, we can take every idea a step further.”

Demonstrated by his persistence to work at Artemis, John brings passion and dedication to his projects. It’s his ability to see clients’ visions though, coupled with his versatile design skills and quick wit, that has made John an integral part of the creative team.

England-born, Victoria-raised, John’s love of adventure has taken him to Europe, Africa and the Middle East. It’s the same trait that inspires him to drive a Harley to work. An artistic biker – who knew?
